Timothy J. Booth

Vice President, Expeditionary Warfare

Born and raised in Chicago, Timothy J. Booth joined the United States Marine Corps where he served in a number of billets during his 24-year military career. He served with Marine Corps Aviation units in an aviation maintenance capacity and in a variety of Marine Corps Logistics Billets, including some six years of sea service actively supporting Navy commands staffs with Amphibious and Expeditionary Warfare. Timothy also served a tour as an instructor at the Naval Amphibious Base Expeditionary Warfare School.

Timothy served the Naval Acquisition community by representing the Marine Corps in validating, defining, and assisting Naval engineers with Marine Corps Expeditionary Requirements for an ACAT 1D program. He was responsible for evaluating technical drawings, 3d modeling efforts, Science and Technology projects, and Operational requirements documentation so that risk could be evaluated regarding the successful completion of the LPD 17 class of ships in meeting the required operational capabilities. Timothy had extensive interactions with integration of the Marine Corps expeditionary C4I systems to the ship board C4I systems, including extensive computer network working groups, to ensure a robust capability for forward deployed forces.

After retiring from the Marine Corps, Timothy continued to serve the Naval Acquisition community, in the Testing, Development, and Evaluation of Expeditionary Requirements for multiple systems, and system of systems. Since 1999, he has been involved in the creation of CONOPS, CDDs, ICDs, AoA, JCIDS, and other acquisition documentation for moving program of records along the acquisition continuum. In all Timothy has a total of 15 years acquisition experience in the Expeditionary Warfare area, including testing for Networks, Combat Systems, C4I system of systems, Amphibious capability, and Expeditionary Warfare.
